For the dedicated pre-teen, young teen dancer who is on the pre-professional track. This is the age where exposure to many different classical dance forms is necessary for their training, as well as rigorous ballet technique and pointe work.

Master Teacher and guest teacher from Grambling State University, Dianne Maroney-Grigsby, will be visiting California as Marie Arts first modern teacher and dance mentor. Dianne Maroney Grigsby is a former Soloist for the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, touring extensively with the company in Europe, Asia, and Africa. Dianne also held positions with Ailey as Assistant Artistic Director of the Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble, and full-time faculty member at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. She is currently the Artistic Director of the Orchesis Dance Company at Grambling State University. She is a wealth of dance knowledge, with extensive training and experience in both performing and pedagogy, and Del Mar Ballet is very excited to host her!

Guest artist and new to the Del Mar Ballet creative team, Kevin Belisario! L.A. popular hip-hop dancer, choreographer, Kevin offers solid teaching with great choreography!

Diana Nicastro the pointe shoe guru for young dancers. As new pointe shoe students start their pointe work, Ms Nicatro is excellent at guide students every step of the way.

And Del Mar Ballet’s beloved Ms Amanda Daly! Amanda will be teaching ballet and will be running the intensive as Del Mar Ballet’s Program Director. Amanda has a great eye for ballet corrections and teaches an intelligent, motivational class for ambitious dancers.
